Rainy gloomy days. 雨ばっかだよ！

久しぶりにベーキング。アパートの友達が誕生日だったので、マドレーヌ。マドレーヌは簡単なのに、おいしいしかわいいし、良し。２０分あれば作れるよ。

I felt like baking for my friends birthday who live in the same building. I baked madeline they are easy and delicious and look nice! (don't they?) Surprisingly madeline happened to be my friends favorite sweets. Great!

最近ずっと雨で、みんな朝はだらだらな感じ、特にみてよこの人のやる気のなさ！！朝ご飯つくってやったのに食べないし。。起きろ〜〜！！

It has been very dark in morning with rainy gloomy clouds. I think that makes everyone lazy in morning. Especially this person above has been very lazy in morning. She doesn't get up for a breakfast!!

この雨が終わったら、20℃を越える夏のような陽気になるらしい。待ちきれません。嫌いです雨。好きになろうとするけど、無理。たまにしか好きになれない。

It's supposed to clear up in a few days and summer like days are to come but I really don't like this dark weather... very depressing....!!

春の土曜日

やっぱ春です。空気も明るい感じでしょ？でも、、今日は−２℃。なんで！？！

何の花か分からないけど。つぼみもついて。

今日は久しぶりに会う友達とブランチしました。

オーガニック系のレストランで、おいしかった。私はBLT。本当はパンケーキ食べたかったけど朝食べちゃったから。。

その友達と、ブライアンを引き連れてKateSpadeへ。ブライアンのクライアントなので、割引がきくんだけど！この黄色いサンダルかわいぃ。私の靴下履いたままはいてておばちゃんみたいだけど、下のウェブサイトの写真はかわいいでしょ？迷ったけど高いので買わなかったけど、気分はすっかり春です。

春間近、ていうか春なの？Spring has come?

It stays lighter outside, it was taken like 6am. It feels very warm these days but the weather forecast said it's supposed to snow tomorrow!

あったかいんですが、明日雪とか言ってる、信じられん。

The field that I went a lot during summer got closed in order to seed the new grass. I go to this dog park almost every morning to meet Nico's best friend. (she has appeared here many times by now! )

いつも行ってた芝生が、夏に向けて野球用に新しい芝生を植えるので、もう行けなくなってしまった。なので、最近は又昔から行ってるドッグパークへ、親友のマディに会いに行きます。

Chiba

Went to Chiba on the last day of my stain in Japan!

Very different from Tokyo, more beachy spot.

千葉の友達の家

高校の同級生が、九十九里に引っ越したので、遊びに行ってきました。とても素敵でのどかな場所です。

家に羊がっ。これに目が釘付け。椅子にもなるし、おなかがふわふわでとても不思議なやつ、めぇめぇちゃんって言うらしい。

電信柱に書いてあるところがすごい。

とても素敵な、アットホームなおうちで、かなりくつろぎ〜。

うみちゃん。海で拾ったんだって。かわいいね。犬と違う魅力がありますが、おすわりとかしない。

おみやげに大福を持って行ったの、おいしそうでしょ〜〜！！写真見るだけでもよだれがでる。

うちのお母さんとお父さんも行きました。ちょっとお茶をして、退散、ちょっとだけど会えて良かった〜！みんなも遊びに行ってみて下さい、とても素敵なおうちでした。

Visiting family cemetery. お彼岸

朝の５時半だよ！時差ぼけ子。やっぱり帰ってくる時の方が時差ぼけするわ。ちなみに上の花は家のぼけの花です。すっかり春でした。

しばらくお墓参りにいっていないので、行ってきました。お墓で写真とったらなんかへんなもん写るかなと思ったけど、大丈夫だったっぽい。

We visited our cemetery in Japan, I wasn't sure of taking pictures of it but it seems no ghosts were in the photos.

うちのお墓です。７人のご先祖さまがいます。おばあちゃんとおじいちゃんもここ！とても天気の良い日でした。

This is our family cemetery, 7 of my ancestors are buried here. We usually come visit, wash the tomb, give flowers and pray for ancestors.

Came back from Japan. 出張より戻

Saturday was stormy in Chiba and I thought I may not be able to take off but actually there was no problem, I came back to NYC on time. VERY jet lagged, I came home before noon and was going to take a short nap, then found myself waking up at 6:30pm! I have to sleep again, can I do that,,,? Technically I am sleeping a whole day since I slept a lot on the airplane. I watched a lot of movies but my favorite this time was "New York I love You" It is consisted of few short movies which express how each director views New York and very unique movie. I recommend you to watch it if you haven't. More photos will be here tomorrow since I am exhausted!

出張から戻った。めっちゃ眠い、、。隣に座ってた人はテレビ業界の社長で、共通の知り合いなどもいて盛り上がったりしてしまった。日本にいてよく今回は「元気ですね〜」と言われましたが、また飛行機でも言われた。そんなに元気か私！？会社でも、タクシーの運転手にも、飛行機の隣に座った人にも言われるって、、そんなに喋ってるつもりはないんだけどなぁ。日本の人が元気なさすぎなんじゃ！

来月はまた出張、今度は中国の大連経由です。とうとう大学で習っていた中国語を使える日が、、、！？ちょっと復習して思い出さないとな。今回の出張では、会社の英語のウェブサイトを作り直させてもらう仕事をもらってきました。まじで、今のウェブサイトださい＆ていうかウェブサイトじゃない、、。字だらけだし。又色々写真アップします。今日はベッドへ直行。

Last day in Tokyo, we went to Yakuzen （Chinese) hot pot place... it was delicious!

最終日は渋谷で薬膳鍋、おいしかったよ。初めて食べた。

It has been very long time since we took PURIKURA the sticker photo booth. We used to take pictures a lot when we were in high school... The machine got so much more advanced and fancy! it's like mini photo studio....

ご飯の後、目の前がゲーセンで、久しぶりのプリクラ。本当何年ぶり！？機械の進化に驚き。。

I guess new machine photoshops our face automatically and make everyone's eyes bigger. Scary...!!!! Japanese girls always want bigger eyes but I look like a dinosaur.

This pink place is actually pet shop... I felt bad for doggies. :( I miss Nico!!!! Leaving for Chiba, going to spend a day near the beach and then back to NYC.

4月３０日「久保田さんと食事をしていたら、突然指輪が！「一緒に海外来てほしい」って。本当に！？嬉しい♡」

久保田さん展開早すぎくね！？！「一緒に海外来て（僕寂しいし、海外行ったら仕事楽だし、浮気いっぱいできるし、とりあえず君かわいいから）結婚しよう」の間違えじゃない。カッコ内のコメント編集者間違えてはぶいちゃった？

Lunch Heaven Tokyo

Petite Desserts... and the cream puff has mini tomato inside. They were all yummi!!! (Do you see I bit my cake before I took the photo!?)

I like this restaurant... near the office, buffet style. The plate is for appetizer! They use a lots of organic veggies. They taste great and it's only $26 ish with dessert and main pasta course... Japan is so cheap compare to NY.

早咲き桜。

I cross this bridge everyday. Since elementary school.

おなじみの歩道橋も、新しいカメラでとるとシャープだわ〜。NYで写真とっててもなんかあまり浮かない気がするんだけど、通勤中にいきなりとまって写真とってたりすると、すごく浮いてる気分になるのは気にし過ぎ？

Today I went exploring a bit around the office after work. Totally got lost for a moment, but I did okay. I like this building photo. Isn't it very Tokyo?

There are so many shops around my office, its' like 5th avenue times 10. I was very surprised... They even tried to put benches out, some grassy area etc, it was kinda nice blocks. I believe this part of city development is pretty recent.

迷子になって丸の内から有楽町へたどり着こうとしたときに、すごくたくさんお店が並んでいるところを通り過ぎた。NYの５番街の１０倍はでかいんじゃないの。ところどころ、古い日本の商業ビルがあって、そのミックスが面白い。

high scrapers... everywhere! I think that's what makes Tokyo very different from New York. New York have like... short buildings, very old buildings, variety of buildings but Tokyo is pretty new and tall and generic looking. I want to take more photos during day. So far I love the camera!

丸の内はなんか不思議な場所っていうか、大人なオフィス街なのにデパートだらけみたいな、、こんなに買い物するところがあるとこってそうそう世界でもないんじゃ！？日本って本当デパート文化すごい。はじめて有楽町の無印いったら巨大で買い物しまくってしまった、食器とか、、笑

Japon! New Camera!

I am in Japan at my sweet home. My dad got moved to Hiroshima from next month, so it will be good bye to my home for a while. I grew up in this house mostly and I will miss it, it will be strange feeling not to have a place to come home.

The flight to NRT sucked, it rained badly in NYC and plane couldn't take off for 2 hours! and I was stuck watching movies.. my back hurt.... and when I took bus to my home from NRT, it was traffic jam and it took longer than usual. I am ready for bath tonight. Good news is my father bought me the camera I mentioned in the previous entry... Lumix GF1~~!!!! I am very very excited and it is very good camera. I absolutely LOVE it... sorry but love it better than canon.

Some photos here are from the camera, aren't they pretty!?! I will make sure to take tons of photos with this during my stay here. Thank you dad! you are the best. (Actually he tried out the camera and he was very impressed and wanted one for himself!)

日本上陸〜。悪天候で飛行機も遅れ〜。飛行場からのバスも遅れ〜。腰いたばばぁ。もうだめ。お風呂。日本は人間観察するのが面白い。卒業旅行？の季節なのか、変な学生がいっぱいいた、、。「出席番号順に並んで下さい！」とか言われて、自分が出席番号３１番だったことを急に思い出して、変な気持ちになりました。

ところで、分かりますか！？新しいカメラをお父さんが買ってて待ってくれました。なんて優しいんでしょう！そしてすばらしいよこのカメラ、かなりいい！！今のところかなり良い！！っていっても家の中で数枚試し取りしただけだけど、このシャープさ！フォーカスのあたり具合！光！やっぱいいわLumix.想像以上。ちなみに上はうちの母初登場。この実家も、私がずっと育った家ですが、父がしばらく広島転勤にいきなりなったため、しばらくさようならです〜。というわけで、いっぱい写真とるので楽しみにしててね。
