Barcelona -Food&Friends-

Barcelona...Jamon!!! I ended up eating a lots of Jamon in Barcelona, I don't think it's good for you, is it? Personally I felt their restaurant food is a bit salty, maybe cause people drink with meals often?

 生ハム、食べまくったけど、すごいしょっぱいし体に悪そう。おいしかった。。でも全般的にご飯はしょっぱかったな。お酒飲むから？みんなお昼から普通にワインをたしなんでいました。

My friends told me that vegetables and fruits are cheap, like 1kg apple for less than a Euro.

果物と野菜は安い。失業率高いし、それぐらい安くないと困るよね。

I didn't know PAPABUBBLE is from Spain. They also have a store in Tokyo and NY........duh. Globalization is sometimes boring. Their candy is great though.  A bit pricey.. 

お店もシエスタで午後の開店は４時まで空かなかった。日本の金太郎飴職人もがんばってくれ！！彼らよりスキルは高いはずだ。

Barcelona... Tapas!! another thing I was very much looking forward to. A friend of us introduced this nice Tapas place. Full of Japanese. It must be a good restaurant. The second photo looks like a Japanese food! but it's actually fried cheese etc. Everything was excellent and I thought I was going to blow up from eating too much.

串揚げ！？ではなく、タパスです。おいしかった。おしゃれな居酒屋よね。品が違うよ品が、ヨーロッパは！結構バゲットがついてくるのでおなかいっぱいになる。白いご飯が食べたかったのはアジア人の性。フライドポテトをガーリック系ソースと目玉焼きを混ぜて食べるのは体に悪そうだけど、とてもおいしかった。バルセロナはどこでも日本人がいるけど、日本人のいるレストランは大体おいしいということが分かった。

友達とのご飯が一番楽しい。

友達夜ご飯パート２。実はバルセロナに行くまで、誰がいるのか把握してなかったんだけど！高校の後輩に、大学時代の友人。やっぱり旅行先に友人がいると楽しい。この日は、色々新鮮魚を調理してくれるレストランへ。日本人にはたまらないね〜。また、kg売りだけど、安い！！なんでこんなに安いんだ。NYCでシーフード買ったら4倍以上の値段はするでしょう。だって魚１切れ買うだけで、下手すると$8とかするからねえ。

Nabajas?だっけ？ナバハス？見かけは不思議だけど、あさりみたいでおいしい。

The best part of visiting places is going out with local friends. My friends took us to seafood restaurant where they cook fresh seafood right there by kg! so cheap and delicious. Some unknown seafood to Japanese but very very good. Above was my first shell fish. I think it's called Nabajas.

Another drink at the bar... this night we drank one too many. This atmosphere is so Europe, isn't it?? They have this drink called "Clara" and it's half beer and half lemon juice. I guess it's popular there but never heard of it in NYC.

ヨーロッパのこの文化系雰囲気はなかなか他国かもしだせませんよね。日本のバーもこれは難しい。なんでだろうね。でもやっぱり建物が古いのは大きいな。既製品じゃない感じっていうか。 

My friends from University! This day we heard that these famous Japanese actor maybe at this place but unfortunately they didn't show up! damn it. It's ok, their Japanese food was so great and most of all, to see friends last time with good food was priceless!

この日は、とある有名人がここに来るという噂でミーハーに駆けつけましたが、残念ながら計画失敗。しかし！！友人と食べるイベリコ生姜焼き（！！）は最高でした。やっぱ豚は豚でもイベリコは階級が違うのか？普段アメリカで作る生姜焼きよりもおいしかった。（私の技術の問題か？）イベリコトンカツも食べてみたいなっ。というわけで食べ三昧の５日間でした。
