Silly Bands, シリーバンド

These days I have seen these rubber bands shaped in animals and stuff. I was wondering why every store carries them these days. Last weekend when I saw Brian's nephews, they had one on their wrists! and I asked them what are these? and they told me it's called "silly bands". Their mom told me that all the kids love this right now and bring them to school, swap them, wear them, collect them etc. Teacher even gave parents note not to let kids bring them to school. lol. It's just rubber bands but I guess they are very popular.

これ、いろんな形したゴムバンドを色々なお店で最近見かけるから何かと思ってたら、小学生の間ですごい流行してるらしい。先週末、ブライアンの甥が手首につけてたので、聞いてみると、学校で交換したり、集めたり、するらしい。（昔メモ帳とか折り紙とかシール交換してたなぁ。。）そんであまりにも流行ってるので、先生から親に「シリーバンドは持ってこさせないように！」と注意もあったらしく。こんなゴムなんて日本だったらどこでも売ってそうだな。男の子の間でも流行ってるのが、意外。
