Ah! What a surprise. My best friend from D.C. surprised me by visiting NYC on my birthday! I love surprises and I was so happy to see her~! We went hang out, did shopping, took Nico out, had a good dinner and brunch, great time together :) Today we went to 2 cupcake shops. Cupcakes are still very trendy in NYC... well they are delicious but it is amazing how many shops are out there. My friend is on gluten free diet and I took her to this Gluten free Bakery "Tu-Lu's gluten free Bakery " in East Village. Also I visited regular cupcake shop "Butter Lane" and had a french Vanilla chocolate cupcake. Yummm....

NYはまだカップケーキ流行中。先週もカップケーキの話しましたが、、また食べてるよ！！今日は、誕生日にサプライズでDCから来てくれた友人を連れて、カップケーキを求めに。彼女は、グルテンフリーのダイエットなので、グルテンの入ってないカップケーキやさんへ行きました。いろんなもんがあるよねNYは。本当に。何件カップケーキやさんがあるんだっていうかんじです。
これが私の買った普通のカップケーキ @ Butter Lane。おいしいよん〜〜〜。日本の人には少々甘すぎるかな？これで１個$3は詐欺に近いが。。
上はButter Laneの写真。週末はカップケーキクラスとかもやってるらしい。日本のケーキもおいしいけど、カップケーキも悪くないから、食べてみてよ。
