Yes, I went filming "mad hot ballroom" the competition by elementary school students. It is the competition that became a documentary movie "Mad Hot Ballroom" a few years ago. All of them were 9-11 years old and they were so adorable. For everybody, it is the first time competition and they dressed up all nice and very excited. This program is mostly adapted by poor area of New York and it is such a special occasion for them to come and perform at this nice stage in downtown.
My favorite dance was Tango and Swing, they are both passionate and a lot of fun moves. I wish I could dance like them...!
So there were three judges and one of them was from New York City Ballet, Mr. Tom something. He was... just his existence was ballet. Even when he is just standing, looks like he is doing ballet! So easy to tell that he is a dancer, great posture and his feet were at "Position 1". Although, I didn't like that he wore leather shoes without socks and with shorts...!!!! oh well.....
