トウキョウ、Tokyo

My tokyo life started for a week... I am commuting from my parents house to work which takes about 1.5h! It's not as bad as you think but still loooong time in train. The weather is a lot milder than NY, I don't even need a coat on the subway and no need for scarf or gloves.

Morning train is super quiet as always have been, it is kind of amazing that I don't hear anyone chatting.. most of them asleep. Every time I come here I feel such a foreigner but nobody knows where I usually live, so Japanese people are not very nice when I am in trouble... This morning I didn't know how to print a receipt for train ticket, so I asked the train station staff "How can I print out receipt?" and the guy seemed very puzzled and said "You just needed to hit the receipt button." well... he was nice enough to get the receipt out of the machine later.

I drank green tea Latte in morning and sushi for lunch, there are so many options for lunch!! and I always pass by those cute stores.. aaa, no time to shop this time!! too bad.... Places are decorated very X'massy, people dress very nice as usual. The picture was taken from the office building that is at downtown. No greens!!

東京生活開始、早速残業で、時差ぼけで、ほにょほにょです。満員電車は相変わらず静かで、きれいで、みんなきれいな格好して、乞食もいないし、みんなきれいなお洋服をきて、女の子はふわふわのものつけたりして、奇声を発する人もいなければ、食べ物を乞いにくる人もいず、すごく不思議な気分。恵まれた国です。

NYよりあったかい、女子高生の素足、私もいけるかなと思うくらい、手袋もマフラーもいらないしスカートもはける。電車の中ではちょーきょろきょろ人間観察しました。帰りの電車は疲れて、寝る、寝過ごさなかったのがすばらしい、体は覚えている電車での寝方を！
