My first visit to Hiroshima

Past weekend, I visited my parents in Hiroshima. Sneak peek. Ah, food was amazing! It was far to go on the weekend during my business trip but it was worth a visit.

Miyajima, very beautiful, more than what I have imagined. I have seen so many photos but you have to be there to experience the gorgeousness of the place.

週末は、お父さんとお母さんを訪ね、広島へひとっ飛び～。強行宮島ツアー。写真で何度も見ていましたが、やっぱり自分で行くと、感動が違います。あたりまえだけど。空気、匂い、迫力！こんなところで夜、火を焚きながら、エンターテイメントなんて、まさにセレブだったんでしょうねぇ。

ひとなつっこすぎる、鹿。ニコのためにとった。ニコの方がかわいい。

原爆ドームへ初めて行きました。被害者の話はやっぱりドスンと来ます。一瞬にして街が吹き飛び、皮膚が吹き飛び、全員が死ぬなんて、想像もつかない壮絶さです。

My first visit to Hiroshima peace memorial park. This is the historical dome where the atomic bomb was dropped. It was really painful to see all the victims photos and stories. Your skin melts right away, your face is blown off, people dive in the river from the heat, the town disappears in a second... unimaginable tragedy, and it should NEVER happen again, anywhere.

大雪警報が出て、東京に帰れなかったらどうしようかと思いましたが、無事戻ってきました。日本の色々なところにもっと旅してみたいなと思ったけど、日本の田舎もやっぱアメリカと一緒で、なんもないね！って、、田舎だから当たり前か。日本の田舎は食べ物がおいしくて、よろしいです。
