Shopping Day.

I don't know what it is but since I moved to the United States, every time I come back Japan I have to check Muji. I am addicted! I guess I appreciate their simpleness more...Also it is only available in Japan, which is the great part. (although we have Muji in NYC, not very many selection as Tokyo and more expensive!) Right now it is a big sale season in Tokyo and I ended up buying some kitchen stuff. Above is the NABE pot, (hot pot) and I felt compelled to own one as a Japanese living in the U.S.! It was around $20 on sale, great deal... Also I got these alphabet cookie cutter, I have some ideas about this... Also a big heart marshmallow bag for Brian :) No more shopping for me...

Last night I was having a conversation with friends about this underground food court at department stores in Japan. Japanese food court at department store (Depa-chika) one of the most developed underground food courts in the world, I believe. I just had to go there to check out since i don't go there very often... It was almost closing but tons of people shopping for prepared food and bento-box. and most of them are deeply discounted! For example, sushi above was only about $5-6 with discount. I swear food in Japan in general are very cheap and good quality. That, was my dinner. Japanese people are blessed with their food.
