Visited NYSE for my job, second time... first time was in March. The first photo is from March, this time they let us take one photo on the trading floor... It is really exciting to go there everytime. Very historical, (even though their volume is going down) and lively, I get to see something I only read everyday in the news articles. It is really nice! My impression was...
-People are standing
-Very dirty, garbage everywhere on the floor (order slips and their food garbage... ill)
-Mostly white male... like 90%
-It is quieter than I thought since they use more computer nowadays but still a lot of people on the floor
私の仕事は、トレーディングのテクノロジーをリサーチすることが一部ですが、その関係でNYSEに行ってきました。２回目。上の写真は３月のものだけど、今回もトレーディングフロアを歩かせてもらえて、ラッキー！やっぱり仕事でいつも読んでいることを実際に見れるのはとても感動します。「ここで市場は動いてるんだ！」というね。実感が湧きます。取引所は、テレビの時も行った事がなかったので、行けて良かったです。9.11以来パブリックにも公開していないので、行きたい場所の一つでした。上にも英語で書いたけど、まじ汚いよトレーディングフロア。みんなの食べ物の袋とか仕事の紙切れとか、忙しいの分かるけど、ゴミ箱に捨ててよ、って感じ。あとは男ばっか。しかもみんなストレスいっぱいていう感じで、お金持ちそうにも見えませんでした。結構若いバイトみたいなのもいたし。（リアルでしょ。）
