Last time we went camping, there was a lake. In East Coast, dogs are not allowed on public swimming area during swimming season but we took Nico during the evening when people were gone. We have been taking her to water places but always she was a little scared and never going in the water. But! this time, somehow she went in the lake quite few times. I felt like excited parent of 1 year old... She didn't go in and swim but she went in till her stomach and walked around. She also fetched some sticks in the water... I am very proud! maybe the lake water was still and she was able to see the bottom, which could have helped her decide to go in.
The lake was very foggy and beautiful...!
