Last Saturday, we rented 4 by 5 camera and Brian taught us how to use the camera. We hang around in the park, street and tested the camera! It was such a perfect day to be outside!
When you focus the image, you had to wear this cloth over you, otherwise you cannot see the image on the screeeen. We used polaroids, I will upload the results later. It is really nice to see film quality after getting so used to digital media.
It takes time to focus, and shutter is just one click! your appreciation toward one piece of photo changes so much when you use such a manual intensive camera. It was such a fascinating machine.
This was from friends' condo rooftop. You can see avenue goes so straight... I think you can see more than 30 blocks in this photo! amazing huh?
