I realzied that I haven't been taking many photos since Japan. Part of the reason is the gloomy weather.. I don't like taking photos on rainy days too much, just because it's hard to get good photos under rain without letting camera wet.
Went to Chinatown to grab dim-sum with our good friend, it was rainy but Chinatown was packed as usual..!
One thing to do is grocery in chinatown. Their fresh products are so cheap. For example, Blueberry costs like $5.00 at whole foods (high-end super market) but in Chinatown it's only $1.00!! uuuu cheap. Their grocery carts remind me of Thailand..
とにかく青果が安いよ、チャイナタウンは。日本だとレストランばっかだけど、NYのチャイナタウンは本当に中国手前。でも道を一本挟むと、リトルイタリーとかに変わっちゃうのが、面白いんだけどね。。安くて。今は、ロンガン、ライチ、チェリー、もも、ブルーベリーがシーズンのようです。桃も、４個で$2.50. 安いっしょ。
My friend Jina, she is 3 more months to go! Ganbatte~~!! Her belly is growing every time I see her. I went to baby registry shopping with Jina and her husband at baby r s but it was very strange feeling to buy something for future being. Picking up clothes for someone who you never met!? eccentric...
At night we went to this ramen place on my block, Kanbi. It is so convenient to have them so close.. They are really popular in the city. Ramen is becoming one of the popular Japanese staples. うちのブロックにあるラーメン屋。人気で。日本のラーメンに比べたら、まだおいしくないけどさ、おいしいよ。普通にラーメン。NYにも飲んだ帰りはラーメン、が来る日も遠くないかも。（アメリカ人は飲んだ後に、ホットドッグとか、ピザ、とかフレンチフライ、とか。。）
